Tiare Smith, just like many paper crafters began creating scrapbooks in her high school years.  Years later, after a vacation and a trip to the local Hallmark store she found scrapbooking the "safe way."  She quickly fell in love with this great hobby and became quite passionate about preserving memories and sharing this great craft with others.  Her passion, degree in Marketing, desire for success and independence, as well as the support and encouragement of family and friends pushed her to turn her passion into profit.  Since learning this craft over 12 years ago, she has experienced great success in various areas of the industry as a, Scrapper for Hire, Kit Club Owner, Card Maker, Altered Artist, Designer, Event Planner, Instructor and Publisher.  

The more time she spent in the industry, the more relationships forged, the more she learned that there were many people who had hoped to turn their passion into profit, as well.  However, many do not know how to get started, what to do next, how to get organized or where to focus their efforts.  Many of whom do not have any business experience, just a desire to pursue their passion.  After getting numerous calls and emails asking for advice, she decided to launch I Make Money Crafting to assist papercrafters in making their dreams come true.

I Make Money Crafting will provide weekly tips, ideas and success stories to help inspire and educate.  In the future there will also be workshops, workbooks, ebooks, special reports and other valuable tools available for those who are ready to learn more and go to the next level. 

She has taught for local scrapbook stores and at national conventions.  Her work has  been published in numerous scrapbook magazines and idea books.  She successfully, launched a scrapper for hire business, where her first customer netted her over $800.  Also, quite successful was her venture into the monthly kit club arena, with Classy Coordinates which grossed up to a six-figure income, annually.  She inspired scrapbookers aroudn the globe with the A Sketch a Day Club for several years. She later added the title author to her list of accomplishments.  Several of her published ebooks, Sketch Inspired Layouts  and the 52 Week Sketch Challenge have received great accolades, as well as her video series Scrapbooking with Tiare.  

Recently she has also begun to dabble in jewelry making, embellishment arts, homemade body care and knitting.  Let's see where this leads to next!
